How should I clean the oven?
To clean your oven, first ensure all switches are off, the appliance has cooled, and it is unplugged. Use only manufacturer-approved cleaning products, avoiding caustic creams, abrasive powders, or hard tools. For general cleaning, wipe the oven with a soft, soapy cloth after each use, then rinse and dry. For a complete cleaning, use a liquid cleaning product, and avoid dry, powdered, or steam cleaners. If your oven has catalytic walls, clean them with a damp sponge to remove grease, then operate the oven at 250 °C for one hour. Allow to cool and wipe again with a damp sponge. Clean smooth enamel parts and the door glass with household detergents. For electric plates, ensure there is no residual temperature, remove overflowing food and grease with a scraper, then clean with an appropriate liquid and a damp cloth, and dry. For enamelled parts, clean regularly with warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth, avoiding prolonged contact with acidic substances like vinegar, lemon juice, or tomato juice.
