How to remove the fan?

To remove the heat sink: 1. Follow the procedure in the section Before Working Inside Your Computer. 2. Enter maintenance mode. 3. Remove the SIM card. 4. Remove the microSD card. 5. Remove the base cover. 6. Remove the battery. 7. Disconnect the system fan cable from the connector on the system board. 8. Remove the two screws (M2x5) that secure the heat sink to the system board. 9. Loosen the four captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board. 10. Lift the heat sink and remove it from the system board.
