Why does the cooling mode deactivate automatically?

Cooling mode deactivation is typically caused by system configuration restrictions or specific operating conditions. In VRF or heat pump systems, cooling cannot be selected if another indoor unit in the same system is operating in heating or frost protection mode. Additionally, if a master indoor unit is defined within the system (such as in an MCF group for heat recovery or a refrigeration system for heat pumps), all other units are restricted to the mode selected on that master unit.

Why might the cooling mode deactivate automatically on a VRF or heat pump system?

The cooling mode may deactivate due to system configuration restrictions. In heat recovery or heat pump systems, cooling is unavailable if another indoor unit is operating in heating or frost protection mode. Additionally, if a master indoor unit is set to heating mode, other units in the system or group cannot use the cooling mode.

Why does the cooling mode deactivate on a VRF or heat pump system?

Cooling mode deactivation can occur in VRF or heat pump systems if another unit in the same system is in Heating or Anti-frost mode, or if a master unit is set to Heating, as these modes cannot operate simultaneously.

Why might the cooling mode deactivate on a VRF or heat pump system?

Deactivation can occur due to specific system restrictions. In heat recovery or heat pump systems, cooling mode is unavailable if another indoor unit in the same system is currently in heating or frost protection mode. Additionally, if a master indoor unit is set to heating, all other units in that group are restricted to heating and cannot use cooling mode.

Why does the cooling mode deactivate automatically?

The cooling mode may deactivate due to system restrictions in VRF or heat pump systems. For example, cooling is unavailable if another unit in the system is in Heating or Frost Protection mode, or if a master indoor unit is set to a different operating mode.

How to restrict the setpoint temperature range in cooling mode on an UTY-RLR controller?

To restrict the setpoint, enter the administrator menu by holding [MENU] and [<] for 2 seconds. Select 'Setpoint Temp. Range Setting', enable the function, select 'Cool/Dry' mode, and then define the upper and lower temperature limits.

Why does the cooling mode deactivate on its own?

The cooling mode may deactivate due to system restrictions. In heat pump or heat recovery systems, if another indoor unit in the same system is operating in Heating or Frost Protection mode, Cooling cannot be selected. Additionally, in systems with a designated master indoor unit, all other units must operate in the same mode as the master.
