How to install a gravity drain and access the condensate tray on the ASYG12KMCC model?

To access the drain area, remove the bottom covers and the front panel (including screw covers and base screws). For the gravity drain, insert the hose securely into the drain port so it touches the back, ensure a continuous downward slope, and place the hose at the bottom of any piping bundle.

How to connect a gravity drain hose to the device?

To install a gravity drain hose, insert it securely into the drain orifice. It must contact the back of the orifice to ensure watertightness. The hose must have a downward inclination over its entire length. If grouped with refrigerant piping, always place the drain hose at the bottom of the bundle. If a plug was removed for installation on one side, ensure the other drain orifice (if any) is sealed. Avoid immersing the end of the hose in water or creating improvised siphons. Always verify drainage after installation.

How to access the condensate tray area?

To access the internal area where condensate drainage is located (tray and orifice), you must remove the following elements: first, the lower covers (push marks on the side, then slide them); then, the front panel (remove screw protectors and the 4 screws at the base, then release the fasteners located at the top of the panel). Once the panel is removed, the drain orifice will be found at the base.

How to connect a gravity drain hose to the device?

To install the gravity drain hose: Firmly insert the drain hose into the drain opening until it makes contact with the back of the opening to ensure a tight seal. The hose must have a downward slope over its entire length. If bundling the drain hose with refrigerant piping, always place the drain hose at the bottom of the bundle. Ensure that the other drain opening (if it exists) is properly sealed with the drain plug. Be careful not to immerse the end of the hose in water and avoid creating spontaneous backflows or siphons.
