What should be done if the scale display is unstable or fails to show zero?

Ensure the weighing plate is clear of foreign objects and the scale is level. Eliminate environmental factors such as drafts, vibrations, or electromagnetic interference. Press the TARE key to reset the zero indicator. If the display persists in fluctuating or shows 'instab', restart the device by disconnecting and reconnecting the power.

How can the zero indicator be displayed or reset on the scale, and what steps should be taken if it doesn't appear or the display shows 'INSTAB' or fluctuates constantly?

To display or reset the zero, press the TARE key; the screen should then show the zero indicator >0<. If the zero indicator does not appear, proceed as follows: 1. Press the TARE key again. 2. Verify the absence of any object on the weighing pan. 3. Check for error messages: < zlimit > (zeroing range exceeded upwards), < UnderZ > (zeroing range exceeded downwards), or < instab > (charge unstable). 4. If < instab > is displayed or the display constantly fluctuates, it indicates an unstable load. Possible causes and solutions include: Currents/air movement, vibration of the table or floor, weighing pan in contact with foreign objects, electromagnetic fields/electrostatic charges, unevenly placed weight, strong temperature changes, preparation time not observed. 5. Restart the scale: disconnect and reconnect the power, then restart the weighing process. After addressing the issue, press TARE to restore the >0< indicator.

How to display the zero indicator on the scale, and what to do if it doesn't appear or if the display is unstable (e.g. showing or fluctuating)?

To display or reset the zero, press the TARE button. The screen should then display the zero indicator >0<. If it does not appear, or if the display is unstable, proceed as follows:

  1. Press the TARE button again.
  2. Verify no object is on the weighing plate; nothing should be in contact with it.
  3. Identify any error messages: < zlimit > (zeroing range exceeded upwards), < UnderZ > (zeroing range exceeded downwards), or < instab > (unstable load).
  4. Eliminate causes of instability: remove drafts (from doors, windows, AC), vibrations (from table or floor), electromagnetic fields, or electrostatic charges. Relocate the balance or turn off interfering devices.
  5. If < instab > is displayed, wait for the stabilization indicator to appear after placing the material.
  6. If the display moves on its own, ensure the balance is level using the adjustment feet.
  7. Verify the preparation time (approx. 2 hours of preheating) has been observed.
  8. Restart the balance by disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply, then restart the weighing process.
