How to set the time, date, and program automatic night triggering on a Rain Bird ITC programmer?

To reconfigure your Rain Bird ITC programmer, you have two options depending on the desired precision: Standard mode (simplified) or Turbo mode (more advanced).

1. Setting the clock and date

  • In Standard Mode: Press the ➔ key until the clock setting. Use +/ON and -/OFF for the hour, and the selection key for the day (1 for Monday, etc.).
  • In Turbo Mode: Hold down the Turbo key for 5 seconds. Access steps T1 (Year, month, date) and T2 (Time of day) for a complete setting.

2. Automatic programming (night triggering)

Once the clock is set, you can define your start times:

  • Go to the starts setting function (step III in Standard mode or T4 in Turbo mode).
  • Select the program (A, B or C) with the A/B/C key.
  • Use the +/ON and -/OFF keys to define the desired time for your night cycle.
  • Note: The programmer will automatically reorder the times chronologically. If the system is completely out of order and you wish to start from scratch, you can perform a reset by making contact between the two "RESET" pads on the electronic board, but beware: this will erase all your data.
